First SGM XRF-T Installed in Japan

Jyougen Sangyou Co., Ltd. has become the first company in Japan to install SGM’s XRF-T (X-ray fluorescence) technology, confirming its forward-looking approach in material recycling.

Founded in 2009 and based in Saitama, Jyougen Sangyou operates in the collection, transportation, and export of metal and plastic scrap, with facilities located in the Kanto and Tohoku regions. The company is known for its efficient material handling and adoption of advanced technologies.

First SGM XRF-T Installed in Japan

Already equipped with an SGM system since 2022 for ELV and mixed scrap treatment (including ECS, color sorters, and sensor-based sorters), Jyougen has expanded its capabilities with the addition of XRF-T and XRT systems.

This milestone marks an important step in SGM’s expansion in the Japanese market, offering cutting-edge recycling technologies on a global scale.
