Complete Brass Refining Plant in Latvia: Metaleskpo Chooses SGM

Metaleskpo, a leading metal scrap trading company in Latvia, has chosen SGM Magnetics for a complete brass refining plant.

Custom-designed, the plant integrates advanced technologies that also allow processing of aluminum and copper.

SGM’s in-house testing confirmed the plant’s ability to achieve high purity levels by removing around 5% contaminants, adding €200–400/ton in value.

Noteworthy features include the ability to separate copper from brass and distinguish chromed from non-chromed brass, thanks to XRF-T technology.

A strategic project that marks SGM’s first reference in brass refining, proving our capability to deliver full-process, tailored solutions for specialized markets.
